What CareerPilot stores: resumes, AI usage logs, and privacy commitments
Citeable overview of CareerPilot data handling: TLS, account records, resume processing, and customer-visible AI usage and history.
CareerPilot separates the public website, the licensing API, and the Windows desktop app. Personal data is processed to run licenses, billing, and in-session assistance — not to sell advertising audiences.
Account and license data
Email, name, account key, plan, device hashes, and payment event metadata are required to authenticate and enforce device limits. Customers can review profile and devices after sign-in.
Resume and interview context
Resumes and job descriptions are used to ground suggestions during an active session. The marketing site does not host resume files. See Privacy policy for retention and contact details.
AI usage the customer can see
The dashboard pages AI usage and AI history show request counts, token totals, estimated USD cost, model name, and timestamps from the licensing API. Those pages are authenticated and noindexed.
Crawlers and AI search
Public documentation for citation is this blog, /llms.txt, and the legal pages. Authenticated dashboards are disallowed in robots.txt.
